In All About Playa, we have selected these four activities that range from the cultural side of Día de Muertos to actual parties and gatherings. Take a look!
Dog Halloween | Día de Muertos
It’s a dog party! In Dog Halloween, you can bring your pooch dressed up in a most spooky costume and participate in a contest! The prizes range from dog spa tickets to a full month of dog services at Animal House. And for humans? There will be a stand with hot dogs, fries and sodas 🙂 (get it? hot dogs). The food will have a vegan option.

Visual Arts Exhibit “Garbancera Caribeña” | Catrina Festival
On the other hand, for those looking for the cultural side of Dia de Muertos, the Catrina festival is culminating in this collective exhibit. In the Caribbean “Garbancera”, artists from all around Mexico have gathered their oeuvre at Quinta Alegría Shopping Mall. You can visit the gallery from Saturday the 31st, up until the 15th of November.

Graveyard Gathering | Tiki Halloween Party
Only VIPs! And by that, I mean that there is a deceased celebrity costume contest! The prize promises to be “worth coming back from the dead for”. This Saturday, at Tiny Tiki Hut, everything is prepared to have a spooky evening party, with zombie cocktails, other scary spirits, and a DJ set by Mr. Bassie.

Full Moon Rooftop Catrina Dinners
For Halloween 2020, MVNGATA has organized three days of special Catrina dinners. from Friday to Sunday, different musicians will be enlivening the gourmet dinners with their musical talent.
First, on Friday October the 30th, there is music by Achy
On Saturday October the 31st (Halloween), Music by Pau Lucas.
Last, on Sunday November the 1st, Music by Blue in Green Quartet.
