This Saturday, March 14th, Tiny Tiki Hut will host an event to celebrate two years of being in business. The party begins at 5:00 pm, with live music at 6:30 from the Snorkel Surfers, followed by a DJ Set at 9:00 pm from Dubi Selekta. They will also have special promos, gift giveaways and more, so don’t miss out.
For those of you unfamiliar with Tiny Tiki Hut, it’s a popular spot for local expats and tourists due to their great atmosphere and delicious Asian/Polynesian food. Most menu items cost between 30 and 90 pesos each and their cocktails are very good (and well priced). As Playa del Carmen continues to grow and older venue close down, place like this continue to create a sense of community for people that live here. If you are new to the city, come down and check it out and make some new friends.
Tiny Tiki Hut is located on 20th Avenue between 4th and 6th Streets. You can find this place easily, just look for their palapa (thatched roof) located in the middle of the block.
