Playa del Carmen starts its economic recovery

The gradual opening of Playa del Carmen’s beaches will benefit greatly the economy of the city. Canal 10 spoke to the President of the Riviera Maya’s Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Araceli Sandoval, who provided her views on the current state of Playa.

She affirms that the recovery is incipient but noticeable. A few sectors have started to experience movement after the COVID crisis. The restaurant industry is appreciating positive movements, and the arrival of national tourism from the rest of Mexico is imminent, she points. She foresees that December will be the time that all sectors rise again.

In short, there would be reasons for hope in a near recovery.
