On Friday, October 21 the first direct flight from Paris-Cancun will begin with Air France, according to the Social Communication Newsletter.
The director of the Cancun International Airport, Carlos Trueba Coll, announced that the first flights are almost full, as Air France reported important sales figures from October to November.
The route will be opened on Friday with the arrival of a Boeing 777-300, which will arrive twice a week.
“Given these positive figures, we hope that this will lead to the company Air France to rapidly increase their frequencies, and so come as soon as a third week.”
This flight will contribute to efforts to expand tourism markets of Cancun and the Riviera Maya, and still maintain the state as the main destination for Mexico and Latin America.
