Download the app
First of all, download the Biciplaya app available for Apple and Android. It is necessary to complete the registration with the following information:

You have to upload a photo of your ID (it can be the passport)
You must charge some money with your credit or debit card.
Once registered, follow the instructions to use the bikes. It works with QR codes and all bikes have GPS to prevent theft.
Bike Stations
You’ll be able to find Bike Stations scattered around the most relevant streets. There will be 44 stations and the plan is to expand this number in the future.
It is always recommended to park the bike at the nearest station after using it to prevent the app from running the service and overcharging money.

There are 3 modalities
1 day – 98 pesos
3 days – 196 pesos
These are ideal for tourists, but if you live in Playa del Carmen, there is a special option:
1 year – 420 pesos
In this case, the application allows you to use the bicycle for up to 30 minutes, then you have to stop and reactivate the service. But the truth is that Playa del Carmen is very easy to navigate and you can get anywhere in a matter of minutes.
