Cancun Opens More Direct Flights to Brazil!

Derived from the tourist promotion carried out in the Tianguis Turístico 2019, the International Airport of Cancun will have the arrival of new direct flights from Turkey, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain and the United States, but will also receive national flights from Sonora, Baja California, besides Monterrey.

Interjet will operate the Medellín-Cancún route; Aeroméxico the routes Cali-Cancún, Quito-Cancún and Minneapolis-Cancún; the Evelop company will operate the Madrid-Cancun route with an Airbus 350 aircraft, which has more seats; and Viva Aerobús routes Hermosillo-Cancún and Tijuana-Cancún, besides offering chartered flights from New York, Cincinnati, Raleigh and Nashville.

Brasilia will connect with Cancún on a Gol airline flight four times a week and in August, Turkish Airlines will offer to link Istanbul with Cancun, with a stopover in Mexico City, and Cancun-Istanbul.

During the first week of the current holiday period, Quintana Roo received two thousand 416 national and international flights, according to figures from Asur. The air operations in Cancun, registered from Monday 15 to Friday 19, were 963 national and 1,453 international.
