Imagine sitting on the white sandy beach in your kabana chair. Located on 48th and the beach, it’s a little out of the way of the hustle and bustle that can be the beach further down. This by no means makes it vacant however, as Canibal Royal is very popular and plays host for many beach-side parties as well as being a premier venue at which many of the 2011 BPM Festival events took place.
The club itself is three stories, with restaurant and bar space on the ground and second floor, with the third being a rooftop balcony with a very large built-in hot tub.
With stunning ocean views, a large variety of beds and comfortable beach chairs, great ambiance, fantastically executed sea-side village/retro styling, excellently made drinks and great food, Canibal Royal is definitely a must-see for those vacationing in Playa del Carmen and a favorite haunt of those who now call the Riviera Maya home.
