Good news for the tourist industry! The Concamin (the Industry Chamber Confederation) just awarded the Xcaret Group with the Corporate Ethics and Values Award. At the same time, the CONCAMIN also awarded CEMEX and Nestlé México for the good practices.
To reach the award, a team of experts in Corporate Social Responsibility examined the various enterprises within the group. This includes the eco-parks of Xcaret, Xplor, Xenses, and Delphinus, among others.
In turn, Xcaret proved a serious commitment to good practices in the areas of normativity, organization, and corporate government. The three add to Xcaret’s respect for human rights, the environment, responsible marketing practices, and Covid-19 protocols. As a consequence, the activity of Xcaret benefits their associates, their clients, and the communities it works with.
The Words of Xcaret
As part of the speech of acceptance, the President of the Group, Miguel Quintana Pali, stated this:
“In Group Xcaret we are proud to be a 100% Mexican corporation. Since we started more than 30 years ago, we hold the firm belief of being an organization that honors Mexico and its Nature. Always fostering respect among people. This award indicates that we are on the right track, even when there is a long way to go. In turn, our efforts envision making the planet a better place for each and every one of its inhabitants.
We guide our actions by the Xostenibilidad (X-sustainability) and our three P-principles: people, planet, and prosperity. I would like to thank the Industry Chamber Confederation for this distinction, the Corporate Ethics and Values Award. As a consequence, the award endorses and confirms our commitment. This is, to contribute to the social, environmental, and economic parts of our society. For our community, Quintana Roo and Mexico”.
