Grand Velas Riviera Maya now offers guests a new foodie experience inspired by recipes of the region. Taught by the resort’s Mayan Chef, Humberto May Tamay, guests can discover the Mexican flavors of traditional Yucatecan cuisine during an intimate cooking class. Traditional techniques are showcased during the class which results in a three-course meal of recipes that have been passed from generation to generation and kept as the jewels of the Yucatan peninsula’s cuisine.
