¡ Feliz Día de Reyes !

It’s tradition in Mexico to eat Rosca de Reyes and to drink Chocolate Caliente (hot chocolate) because of the arrival of the “Reyes Magos” (3 wise men ) today.
The Rosca de Reyes is a ring-shaped bread topped with dried fruit and stuffed with a few plastic dolls representing the baby Jesus. The figure symbolizes the hiding of the infant from King Herod’s troops. According to tradition whoever finds a figurine in their slice of sweet bread must on February 2nd, Candlemas Day or Dia de la Candelaria, offers Tamales.
