Neither the winds or the heavy rains of Hurricane Laura could stop the arrival of tourists to Playa del Carmen. Both national tourists and foreign visitors are coming to the city to enjoy its fantastic beaches, adventure possibilities and leisure activities. The economic reactivation is on its way despite the bad weather.
Visitors interviewed by Canal 10 News reported that they are taking advantage of the benefits of remote work and distance education. That way, they can travel and be present for their responsibilities. Never mind the bad weather: travellers were able to enjoy the beach, regardless of the sun.
