The Tourism Promotion Council of Quintana Roo (CPTQ), reported that international companies located in countries such as Australia, Malaysia and South Africa have expressed their interest in holding their meetings in different parts of the entity such as Cancun, Chetumal, as well as Cozumel, which It reflects an important growth of Quintana Roo in tourist diffusion, reaching from adventure tourism to business.
In this regard the president of CPTQ, Darío Flota Ocampo explained that the state delegation had an important participation in the fair aimed at tourism meetings, congresses and IMEX incentives, held in Frankfurt, Germany, where they had approaches with businessmen from Australia, South Africa, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
Companies interested in holding their next meetings in Quintana Roo are Event 7, as well as Amex Global Business Travel (Australia), Holiday Tours (Malaysia), The Roxstars Group (Shanghai), Orange (France), Global Destination Sustainability (Spain), The Specialist Company (United Kingdom), as well as Lamont Associates, One10 and ECI (United States).
The activities of tourist promotion before buyers include exposing the advantages of making trips from the business segment to the tourist destinations of Quintana Roo, as well as the hotel infrastructure, natural beauties, together with venues for massive events such as the Cancun Convention Centers , Chetumal and Cozumel.
