CANCUN – The current Easter Season has been confirmed as a success for the destination. The Federal Secretariat of Tourism said that this year Easter has brought a hotel occupancy of 92 percent and it is expected to reach one hundred percent. Cancun began the week with 90 percent occupancy and by the close of Friday was 94 percent, which ensures at least 1.4 billion pesos of economic benefits for various sectors in just 15 days.
